Spectator Books has been in business since 1994, and under current ownership since 2017! We are committed to our community, and aim to be a zone of connection, education and respect for all who enter. We are a variety of queer & radical women & non-binary folk championing equity, decolonization, human rights, emotional well-being & mental health, prison abolition, harm reduction, disability activism, and knowledge as power - among many other things. We know too that a good book can very often be, or lead to, the cure for what ails us. We hope you will be able to visit soon!
